Back from a great tour. It was good to have Andrew Godfrey back on bass with us. Thanks to everyone who helped us put the tour together and came out and supported us at the shows. Big shout out to Josh Lippy HXC, Saint Hooligan, John Mays and everyone one else we got play with and hang out with on the road.

Its almost time ! We have a lot going on right now. The video is in the final editing stages. We are well into recording our 3rd album, and there are many other things happening behind the sceens now too. This is the first in a series of announcements that will be made over the next few weeks.

Last weekend was crazy. The show at Alley Katz was a late one, thanks to everyone that stuck it out with us. It was cool to finally meet Mason Summers, and The Shotdowns from NC were incredible. Love those guys.
Saturday were did some shooting for the video in Lynchburg with Chris T, Chris B, and Gram ( aka Wolverine ). We showed up at the Drowsey Poet for the show only to find that it was pouring rain and we werent able to play inside. After some scrambling we ended up at a hotel across the street. We had at least 25 people on the bus with us shuttling over to the hotel and everyone else followed us. We set up in the Liberty Ballroom, how awesome is that ! Hotel staff was surprisingly cool with everything. Spoknof rocked it out as a 2 piece, Hell City Sinners tore it up ! What an intence show. Thanks to all of you that helped load and unload gear with us and made the night possible.
Sunday we finished up shooting for the Take it Back video with the Broken Fan Crew. They are currently working on final editing and should be done soon. Its gonna be sick. Thanks to everyone that had a hand in helping us with this project.

Cornerstone 08 report. Man what a week. Started off with an amazing
show at the Richmond Raceway w/ Dayspring. On to the Shanendoah Valley
youth center where we tore it up with our metal head pals in To
Laodicea. Much love to Tim and the crew at SVYC for all your hard work.
On to Cornerstone, our new home away from home.
Day 1: We kicked off watching our new friends from Scotland in
RODENT EMPORIUM, awesome comic punks, and we rocked out with our tour
mates, To Laodicea, ending the 1st day with a set at the Impromptu
Stage.
Day 2: Started the morning off with worship and preaching at the
Anchor Stage. We played a set at 12pm and meet a lot of great new
people. That night we rocked out at the Underground stage watching our
friends the Filthy 42's, The Scurvies, FBS, Revolution Radio,
Headnoise, The Last Hope and our boys from ChiTown, Flatfoot 56 !
Day 3: Started off with worship and teaching by Bryan Hanover ( x-
Hanover Saints ) at the Fat Calf Stage. We got the honor of starting
off the day at the fat calf stage. Thanks to our friends at Wounded
Records, FBS, Flatfoot, The Scurvies, and everyone else that supported
us at that show. It was and awesome all day event as the best punk
bands at the festival tore up the stage all day long. ( Mainline
Riders, The Scurvies, FBS, The Last Hope, The Hallowed, Rodent
Emporium, Revolution Radio, and many more !
After the fatcalf closed down we headed to the Impromptu Stage to
end the night. It was our last set as an official Raging Storm Records
band. We thank J for all he did to help us get started in the Christian
music world. During our set we were joined by the famous Harry Gore for
our cover of Johnny B Goode, To Laodicea and the Filthy 42's joined us
in singing This Little Light/ I have decided. and at the end of the set
J Scannell himself joined us on vocals for "Just a Sinner"
It was an intense week. See you next year Cstone !

New album is underway. We are about halfway done now. Drum tracks
were done monday and tuesday this week, and the monster Tim recorded
bass tracks for the entire album in 4 hours last night. It was sick.
The guys at the studio are amazing to work with. More details and
updates to come.

Big News from True Liberty.
True Liberty announces a change to the bands line-up. Tom Schoppe (
aka Tom Liberty ) , one of the founding members of True Liberty, has
announced that he is leaving the band. Tom dedicated 2 years to getting
the band off the ground and helped negotiate the band into a deal with
Raging Storm Records. Tom has felt God's calling in other areas of his
life. Tom will still remain very close with the band but his attention
will turn to his family and Gods leading.
With that True Liberty also announces the newest member of the band.
Tim Perkins ( Tim Liberty ) Tim joined the band as the new bassist in November of 2007.
Tim Liberty's bio:
Born in Washington and raised Caifornia and Louisiana, Tim recently
moved to the Richmond, VA area from Bremerton, WA to join True Liberty.
Tim became a Christian at age 17 and set himself to playing music that
honors God. A self proffesed total screw-up, but he knows that God's
grace is sufficient. Tim has been playing guitar and bass since he was
14, and he played in several bands over the years, mostly hard rock and
punk, with a bit of classic rock thrown in. Musically influenced by
AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, OC Supertones, Plankeye, Sex Pistols, Van Halen,
Guns 'n Roses, MxPx, Headnoise, One Bad Pig, the Eagles, the Beatles,
Nirvana, Alice in Chains, the Who, Five Iron Frenzy, Rez Band, Petra,
and tons of others. Tim is happily married to the woman of his dreams,
and has two teenage kids, a dog and two demon possessed cats.
Please join me in welcoming Tim to the band.

Mike's final surgery went well. The Brace was removed from his leg and he starts physical therapy this week. Please continue to pray for his quick healing.

Mike left the hospital this week and he is at home now. There is still a lot of pain in his leg but it is improving. Thanks to everyone that has sent encouraging words to him. He really appriciates it. Keep up the prayers and the messages to him. Thanx. Aaron

Mike broke his leg this week. He is having surgery on Jan 26th. Please be praying for him tomorrow while he is in surgery and also for a speedy recovery for him. Right now just the 1-27 show is canceled as Mike will still be in the hospital, but everything else should be on as scheduled even if he has to do a few shows in a wheelchair.Please post some kind words to Mike on our MySpace page or here in the guestbook and let Mike know that you are praying for him.Peace, Aaron.
